Someone who works mainly with one person dictations, i.e. they transcribe dictation or correspondence.
Transcription
Conversion into written, typewritten or printed form of a spoken language source. It can also mean the conversion of a written source into another medium.
The industry standard for a piece of work to be typed is on average 3 to 4 times the length of the audio. For example, if you were to send us a recording of 60 audio minutes, this would take anywhere between 3 to 4 hours to type.

Rates can be affected by audio variables such as background noise, disturbances and poor recordings, we therefore need to charge slightly more for these interferences.

Parties of two or more people will be typed by name if it is made clear who is who. If not, they will be typed as Person 1, person 2 etc. If you wish to have the work completed within 24 hours we reserve the right to charge an additional fee. Please speak to us to obtain a quotation. .
